Welcome to RSCDS NW Craven Branch
Coronavirus
In line with government recommendations, classes and forthcoming dances and workshops in the area have been postponed until further notice.
We look forward to dancing again when we can do so safely.
Welcome to the website of the North West Craven Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS). We are people who enjoy Scottish country dancing and are keen to encourage others to join us.
Our Branch covers the area of South Lakes, North Yorkshire, and North Lancashire; embracing Barrow in Furness, Windermere, Kendal, Ingleton, Settle, and Lancaster.
Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, follow the links on this website to find out about Scottish country dancing in our area. Whatever your level of experience we hope you'll find something of interest.
New to dancing and want to try Scottish Dancing for the first time, and want to find out what it is all about? We would recommend our Beginners Class at Preston Patrick on Sunday afternoons from January 2020 for one term only. See also our information for beginners.
Do contact us if you have any questions.
