Welcome to RSCDS NW Craven Branch

Welcome

Welcome to the website of the North West Craven Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS).   We are people who enjoy Scottish country dancing and are keen to encourage others to join us.

Our Branch covers the area of South Lakes, North Yorkshire, and North Lancashire; embracing Barrow in Furness, Windermere, Kendal,  Ingleton,  Settle, and Lancaster.

Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, follow the links on this website to find out about Scottish country dancing in our area.  Whatever your level of experience we hope you'll find something of interest.

New to dancing and want to try Scottish Dancing for the first time, and want to find out what it is  all about? We would recommend our Beginners Class at Preston Patrick (normally held on Sunday afternoons from January) for one term only.   See also our information for beginners.

Do contact us if you have any questions.
